Why the USA GPD is more important by inhabitants? The wealth are unevenly distributed, the rich Americans are very numerous, but the average American is not more rich than an European.

BUT, remember that the EU's population is 490 million, whereas America's population is 300 million.
So it is the EU that really lags behind the US. The economy of the EU is only SLIGHTLY larger, a TINY BIT larger than the economy of the US despite the fact that the EU population is MUCH larger than that of the US (490 million to 300 million).
Which obviously means that not only are Americans much more productive than EU citizens but they are much richer - the EU's GSP per capita is only $29,400 whereas America's is $43,500.
And the EU has 27 states, not 25.
