General_Richardo stop being pathetic.
Who do you think you are trying to offend people?
Personally I think forums are for meeting new people and getting along with them. Not for being rude!!

The way Penélope Cruz and Spanish Television Broadcast speak would be Standard Central Spanish base on the speech of Castille (yes Madrid and Salamanca would be in that area).

Read Marienela, it is the best book ever.

ISBN 842943433X (Level 3)

It is about a girl who takes care of a blind boy, they fall in love, but when he gains he's sight again by some miracle he sees her and decides he doesn't love her anymore because she isn't as pretty as he had imagened.

It's great
Xatufan   Saturday, June 26, 2004, 21:03 GMT
Pedro: What makes a book great? The blind boy should have thank God because he could see. He couldn't see for a long time, and in a moment, he started judging people for their appearance...

Jason: ¡Si sigues dando tantos abrazos, al final vas a terminar por ahorcarnos!

I'm learning Spanish, and I'm an advanced learner. What should I read? (Well, the truth is that I speak Spanish at any moment, and I've speaking it since I was born. I can even understand difficult words like alcachofa. But I'm still learning. Learning is an everlasting activity).

Abrazos (I'll start using word a lot, just like Jason).
Xatufan   Saturday, June 26, 2004, 21:18 GMT
I'll correct myself:

<<¡Si sigues dando tantos abrazos, al final vas a terminar por ahorcarnos!>>

If you do someting at the end (al final), it's obvious you are finishing it (terminar). I should've said:

<<¡Si sigues dando tantos abrazos, al final vas a ahorcarnos>> or
<<¡Si sigues dando tantos abrazos, vas a terminar por ahorcarnos!>>

Gracias
