Yeah, I think that will sound funny. So can anyone recommend a better candidate?

<<So can anyone recommend a better candidate?>>

I suppose there's Mayor Juliani or Bloomberg? Maybe they have some speeches recorded somewhere.

all right, I will go find some. It should be not too difficult.

Mayor Juliani and Bloomberg are old folks. I think they speak in a old accent, if they do. Maybe I should I go the General American Accent. I don't want people hear me, and say :"oh, you have a very strange accent."

<<I should I go the General American Accent>>

Perhaps Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Dick Cheney, or Sarah Palin would have suitable accents?

Assuming that General American speech is the goal:

Hillary Clinton speaks with a very strong Great Lakes accent, and would be unsuitable for shadowing purposes---unless someone deliberately wanted to adopt that accent.

While Sarah Palin speaks in a more General American dialect than Hillary, her voice would similarly be unsuitable for shadowing purposes, due to some Inland North influences in her speech.

Dick Cheney might be a good choice. I haven't heard Biden speak long enough to make a judgment.

Most audio books are General American Accent, so I think I will pick one. Thank you, everyone.
