Maybe, but the Celts didn't for sure. Stonhenge was too much complex for them.

Besides archeological remains, Greek & Roman records describe the Celts and their culture. The Greeks called them ‘Keltoi’ or ‘Celtae’ and referred to them as a people living north and to the west of Greece. Later, the Romans called these same people the ‘Gauls.’ Their cultural and personal traits included being boisterous, proud, extremely independent, electing/removing leaders, valuing craftsmanship & adorning themselves with functional & decorative jewelry.

Yes that's true!

But anyway I wouldn't call what happened in England a "genocide".
The newcomer Germanic people simply had the "know-how" to dominate the Celts on the isle (like all the other Germanics, they were used to fight and good at it) but they didn't kill them all, they just mixed with them.
Maybe because they emigrated from the continent just with warriors or because they needed the knowledge the Celts had about the land or even worse, to use them as slaves.
For what I know there are still a lot of people working on the traces left by the Celts of England in English but until now the results have been quite disappointing because they couldn't find a lot, so maybe in that sense it could have been a genocide of the language.

The accounts of cannibalism are unfounded lies to make the Celts sub-human and thereby justify the murder and genocide of the indigenous tribe. You can't murder people, enslave them and steal their land and resources unless people are convinced that that they are inhuman and disgusting. Racist lies are needed in order to convince your armies and citizens to hate the people you are killing. This is the material origin of racism.

The Roman accounts of Britannia. Do you think that these would not be something like the American accounts of Iraq and Vietnam?

It is amazing what can be justified by people who are willing to be racist.

Why are you fooled by such rudimentary propaganda?

The indigenous population in Britain weren't wiped out. It's time to put that silly myth to rest. If you have English ancestry it's likely you both 'Anglo-Saxon' and 'Celtic' ancestry (wildly innacurate terms but they will suffice here).

The ‘Gauls’ cultural and personal traits included being boisterous, proud, extremely independent, electing/removing leaders, valuing craftsmanship & adorning themselves with functional & decorative jewelry.

These cultural and personal traits were probably the reason why Celtic culture and peoples were wiped out. Nobody today wants to be like this.
