By the word hybrid, I mean speech that has both Southern and GA influences.

You hear a lot of them in areas that border the Mason-Dixon line. Language changes gradually, not suddenly, over an isogloss.

Well, that would make sense, then, because Pennsylvania's southern border is the Mason-Dixon Line.
