Which country is the most Latin: France, Spain or Italy?

China fought in Mongolia, Korea, Vietnam, India not to mention civil wars and conquering so called 'Chinese provinces'. Not as bad as other nations, but still not so peaceful either. Of course, going further back in history reveals an abundance of military action, but it would be unfair to go back too far.

<<How many countries did China invade in the last 100 years? >>

India?
Vietnam?
Russia? (did the Chinese army actually get into Siberia?)
(South) Korea?

I suppose soem of these were justified, and some not.

«<<Spanish Empire = FIFO

first in, first out>>

The portuguese empire (not spanish) was the first global empire in history.»

You're right. It was the first global empire, from the Atlantic to the Pacific, and it also was the last european colonial empire. Since 1415, many generations of portuguese fought for its sake, the last one beeing my father's (just 35 years ago).

The most Latin country of all is, of course, Italy. It is where the Latin language originated. It is where Latin culture is still the strongest to this day. The French are Romanized Celts and Germans. Spaniards and Portuguese are Romanized Iberians. Romanians are a mixture of ancient Dacians, Huns, Magyars, Turks, Pechenegs, Cumans, Bulgars, and Slavs who happen to speak a Romance language.

Leasnam : c'est bien plus sûrement un tissu de clichés parmi les plus éculés. Et les poncifs font toujours recette. C'est déjà ça...

<<China is indeed pacifist. How many countries did China invade in the last 100 years? And dont tell me about Tibet cos it is just a Chinese province. On the other hand USA has invaded many countries>>

That's because China's empire was collapsing throughout much of the last 100 years, not because of any 'pacifism'.

Latin did nit originate in Italy, Spain or France, because these wonderfull countries did not exist.

This question is stupid.

If you speak in temrs of latin culture, it is stupid.

Is a german more germanic than an austrian?

Is a swedish more scandinavian than a norwish?

Is a scottish more celtic than an irish?

Is a tunisian more arabic than an algerian?

Is a bulgarian more slavic then a serbian, a russian, tchek?

Why don't you ask about a portuguese, roumanian?

I have to say another thing

Gauls was made of actual (not all part) of France, North Italy (Gaule Cisalpine), Belgium and a small part of Germany.

So if your answer is Italy, as you will notice, which Italy are you talking about?

Nobody is more latin than any other one, because there is not ONE latin culture but SEVERAL. Think about Brazil, Peru, Mexico, Italy, France.......

All these countries are latin.

Why don't you ask:

Who is more white? the french, the english, the portuguese?

Who speaks the best the french language: swiss, belgian, french from France?

Wich alsacian dog is the more alsacian dog?

A french is latin, an italian is latin, a spanish is latin, each has its own specificity.

If you meet an itaian from some areas in frioul Venety, he will use the german language, in trieste soem italians speak slovenian, is he more latin? .

if stupidity were hurting, this forum would be just a sea of tears and wave of yelling of pain ...

how old are you guys and why are you not open a book instead of wasting your time on computer selling all kind of idiocies as values? You are better on on a soccer stadium then on a language forum; there is the right world for you not history, nor languages nor any other filed which ask for a small amount of grey stuff.
You are pathetic!
