What is your favourite Romance language?

I love listening to French and Italian. The smooth flow of French gives it an elegant flavor. The flow and melody of Italian is very pleasing to the ear. Italian has the musicality that few languages can match.
1. Alessandro Gassman's Italian (or any language he chooses to speak)
2. Catherine de Neuve's French (even if she doesn't speak)
3. Ricardo Darin's Spanish (and most other Argentinians too)
4. João Gilberto's Portuguese (singing of course)
5. Mihai Traistariu´s Romanian (I'll make 1000 euros if he wins Eurovision 2006 - although that's in Italian & English - pity)

My favorite Romance Languages are as follows: 1)French-Very elegant, suave and sophisticated. The Language of Diplomacy. 2) Italian-Very sweet, a beautiful melody. The Language of Love. 3) Spanish-Very majestic. The perfect language to speak when worshiping God. 4)Portuguese-Very sexy. Very sensual. 5)Romanian- I couldn't care less._
My favourite would be Spanish because of it's 'open' clear sounds, French I like less because many of the words sound half swallowed and nasal.
However I must say that I prefer Germanic languages as they sound purer and more rational, Romance languages can have a rather frivolous or even dirty sound I think.

All languages have their strengths and weaknesses.
As far as Italian goes, the frequent vowel endings are a double edged sword. The frequent vowel endings in Italian give the language a beautiful, melodic sound that is sweet and sensual. However, I must agree with Sorin when be berates the many Italian words that end in the letter "O". Especially when the same sentence contains many words that end in the same particular vowel, be it "a", "o", or "i". Nonetheless, I still think that Italian is very beautiful to hear and speak. French is beautiful as well, but it's weakness is that it is extremely nasal. French phonology is so far removed from Latin that you swear that you are not listening to a Romance language. But still, I do love the sound of French. Spanish and Portuguese sound clear when they are spoken slowly. But when spoken rapidly, these particular languages can, at times sound very annoying. Although Romanian is the closest language to Classical Latin, Romanian doesn't have the smooth flow of the other Romance languages. It tends to sounds choppy and uneven.
