Someone who wrote it needs to study further about languages, the survey came from the most reliable source, and no matter how you throw a horrible comment at it, accept the fact man, or you must've been dreaming back in time.

Ask for your sanity! First: only morons believe blindly to those "university surveys". Furthermore you act as a scholar but you did not mention WHICH university or any information about this survey. This is an elementary thing to do when mentioning studies. Second: the "most reliable source", "the most prestigious university" etc. are bullshits if they produce such an idiocy. Opinion polls are entirely subjective. Just because some (or even many) people say that these languages sound the worst it doesn't mean it is so. If I think that, say, Russian is the most beautiful-sounding language in the world, I am free to think so and to say so. If you find the same language the worst sounding, you are also free to think so and to say so. Both of us are right and none of us are right at the same time. That debate over the reliability of the source is nothing but a pointless discussion. Full stop.
And yes, Guest is right -- you have to indicate the source. That's essential if you want to be taken seriously. Throwing around things like "the latest survey" and "reliable source" is precious little and isn't scientific in the least. What do you mean by "the latest survey"? The Italian language, has repeatedly been reported at or near the top as far as beautiful language surveys go, time and time again.
